Meet Emmeric Jackson, the creative mind and author behind A Modern Approach. As a work-from-home mom, Emmeric resides in South Africa with her husband. Emmeric’s passion for creativity started at a young age, coming from an artistic family, and pursuing a degree in design. Though initially drawn to the world of fashion design, she found her true calling working with young children in an after-school program.
In 2013, Emmeric seized the opportunity to work at a prominent art gallery in Johannesburg as an assistant to the owner. This experience propelled her into the world of art, and she quickly became aware of the challenges faced by creative professionals at all levels. As she worked her way up from assistant to curator, Emmeric realized that she, too, had been harboring a dream to make a living from her creativity and lead a life of curiosity and freedom.
After having her first child, Emmeric decided to pursue her passion and started A Modern Approach, providing a fresh take on creative support and development. Emmeric’s journey has led her to understand the stumbling blocks faced by creatives, and she is passionate about helping others find the same joy and fulfillment she has found in pursuing her dreams.
